About Us

Create Marketing specializes in providing smart and strategic digital marketing services, coaching and consulting, management and strategy for service (and product) based businesses primarily located in Southwestern Manitoba. We take a realistic approach to delivering strategic digital services to help your business build your brand awareness, bottom line or whatever goal you have in mind.


Ashleigh Hamm


After completing her education in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, Ashleigh began her marketing and communications career at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Since then, she has gained a tremendous amount of hands-on skills and knowledge specifically in traditional marketing, digital marketing, event planning and communications.


Ashleigh has worked in a variety of business sectors including hospitality, tourism, finance and manufacturing. In addition, she has worked with small start ups and sole proprietors promoting both products and services.

Ashleigh sits on the Membership Committee at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce and is currently continuing her education by working towards her Digital Marketing Certification through McMaster University.

On the personal side, she also owns Ashleigh Hamm Photography, lives in Brandon, Manitoba with her husband Myran, four year old son Kash and one year old son Crew.


Jess Raupers

Brand Strategist & Graphic Design

Jess has over a decade of experience in graphic design and has a special interest in building brands for small to medium sized businesses. She moved to Brandon in 2009, to pursue a diploma in Web Design, from Assiniboine Community College. After graduating, she started her freelance journey where she created logo’s for small businesses, built websites, designed graphic user interfaces for iPhone apps, wedding invitations and made posters for local events. 


Over the years, Jess has worked in a variety of roles within education, hospitality and media industries and always found the time to squeeze in creative projects along the way. While she was on her second maternity leave in 2018, Jess decided to start offering freelance graphic design services to the Westman community again. During this time, Jess worked with over 30 businesses and developed a streamlined process for defining a company’s brand strategy while building cohesive visual assets that create a unified brand identity. She also completed online courses aimed at best branding practices, social media strategies, and personal development methodology. 


Residing on an acreage north of Brandon, Jess keeps busy with her four children and husband. She co-hosts, edits and produces a podcast aimed at breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and enjoys writing, gardening and volunteering in her community. Jess has been involved with many organizations including; Westman Regional Soccer Association, Brandon Career Symposium, Assiniboine Community College, and Yellowed Regional Employment Skills and Services. 


Jess is excited to bring her talents to the Create Marketing team and help businesses make a big impact through the thoughtful use of design.


Lana Knoll

Creative Strategist

Lana was born and raised in Saskatchewan before venturing to New Brunswick to complete her post-secondary education specializing in Graphic Design. Over the years, she has travelled and worked across Canada, gaining an extensive amount of experience in the creative industry.


After graduating, she started her career designing artwork for poker chips. She later moved into the newspaper industry which led her to doing freelance graphic design, creating logos and marketing materials for small to medium sized businesses. Her experience at a sign shop enabled her to see her work go from design, to print, right through to installation. In 2009, Lana accepted the position of Art Director, where she successfully implemented a complete re-design of a magazine.


In 2010, Lana’s family grew by two. After having twins, she continued to expand on her career in the creative industry, shifting her focus to building her photography business which she continued after her third child was born. In 2020 she brought all her skills together working in the marketing industry as a Marketing Coordinator.


Lana is excited to help businesses achieve and exceed their marketing goals.


Riley Morningstar

Marketing coordinator

Born and raised just outside of Brandon, MB, Riley grew up involved in many sports and community activities. In 2014 she moved to Winnipeg to complete her Bachelor of Commerce from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, with a double major in Marketing and Leadership. She developed her skills working in Winnipeg and has recently relocated back to Brandon to be closer to family.


Riley has worked in a variety of roles in both the public and private sectors. With experience in recreation, community development, sales, advertising, and the beauty industry she has learnt that each client and project should be viewed through a unique lens. Her past work experience has developed her knowledge in traditional & digital marketing, communication, and event planning.


Over the years Riley has collected a variety of hobbies and spends her spare time, exploring the outdoors hiking, biking, or swimming, working on creative projects, and learning to sew!

She enjoys volunteering and can’t wait to get involved with more projects happening in Westman.


As part of the Create Marketing Team Riley looks forward to helping businesses grow and getting to reconnect with the community!


Shae Worthington

MArketing Assistant

Shae was born and raised in Brandon, MB and grew up traveling and spending time with her family. She was very involved in sports her whole life and still enjoys playing volleyball and doing yoga in her free time.

She has had many roles in the customer service industry including retail management, restaurant service and event setups.


Shae has a strong pull towards entrepreneurial endeavors and runs her own Instagram Boutique. Her love of fashion and creativity has helped her learn the skills necessary to run this small business.


Over the years, Shae has enjoyed backpacking throughout various countries and meeting new people along the way. Some of her favourite places are, Indonesia, Ecuador, and Egypt because they all inspired her to see the world in different ways.


Drew Mitchell

Marketing Assistant

Drew was raised in Brandon, MB where she attended Assiniboine Community College and obtained a diploma in Business Administration. She then moved to Winnipeg to further her education and obtain a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, with a major in Marketing. Drew has a strong background in customer service, administration, and business operations.

Drew moved back to Brandon in the fall of 2021 where she currently resides with her partner Brody and fur-baby Millie. She spends her free time playing volleyball, enjoying the outdoors, and surrounding herself with her family and friends.

Currently, Drew works full-time in the Aerospace industry as a Business Analyst. She has joined the Create team part-time to use and expand her marketing skills while assisting small businesses in Manitoba with their marketing strategies.

Zoey Williams


Zoey was born in Southern Ontario, and grew up traveling the world and living abroad in Europe, South East Asia, and the Middle East. These experiences have sparked a passion for small businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives commerce. 


Zoey possesses a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Aeronautics in Aviation Flight Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Advanced Diploma in Aviation Flight Management from Confederation College. In 2021, she completed her Masters in Business Administration specializing in Aviation and International Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Throughout her education she has had a keen interest in operations management, process optimization, and project management.


Zoey has worked in various roles in hospitality, academia, business coordination, and flight operations. Additionally, she is an active volunteer with a focus on underserved communities and racialized groups. She is a public speaker encouraging business, science, and higher education with school aged children. Zoey was a keynote speaker at the Dream Never Dies Scholarship Dinner and a presenter at the Thunder Bay Economic Trends and Career Paths Workshop.


With six years of business education Zoey has a strong interest in marketing and continuous improvement. As a part of the Create Marketing Team Zoey looks forward to helping small businesses grow and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit in Brandon.
