Create Marketing specializes in providing smart and strategic digital marketing services, coaching and consulting, management and strategy for service (and product) based businesses primarily located in Southwestern Manitoba. We take a realistic approach to delivering strategic digital services to help your business build your brand awareness, bottom line or whatever goal you have in mind.


Ashleigh Hamm


After completing her education in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, Ashleigh began her marketing and communications career at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Since then, she has gained a tremendous amount of hands-on skills and knowledge specifically in traditional marketing, digital marketing, event planning and communications.


Ashleigh has worked in a variety of business sectors including hospitality, tourism, finance and manufacturing. In addition, she has worked with small start ups and sole proprietors promoting both products and services.

Ashleigh sits on the Membership Committee at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce and is currently continuing her education by working towards her Digital Marketing Certification through McMaster University.

On the personal side, she also owns Ashleigh Hamm Photography, lives in Brandon, Manitoba with her husband Myran, four year old son Kash and one year old son Crew.


Courtney Baxter


Courtney was raised in Brandon before venturing to Winnipeg to complete her post-secondary education in Business Administration at the University of Winnipeg (U of W). Her educational focus is in Marketing and in addition to her degree at the U of W, Courtney furthered her knowledge in the field by taking courses at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business. Courtney has additionally completed training in project management through the Canadian Marketing Association, Dale Carnegie Leadership for Managers, and digital strategy through Google Digital Garage/Analytics online courses. 

Presently, Courtney is the Marketing Manager at Westman Communications Group (WCG), managing an in-house marketing team and leading the strategic direction in all traditional advertising, communications, public relations, digital strategy, event planning, and corporate branding for WCG and each of its subsidiaries—Westman Business Solutions, 94.7 Star FM, Q Country 91.5 FM (formerly CKLQ), and WCGtv. Her experience in the Communications/Broadcast industry has provided her with a broader understanding of the communication and marketing needs of local businesses. 

With a passion for community, Courtney has additionally worked with local organizations such as YWCA Brandon, Brandon School of Dance, The Brandon Dance Ensemble (Board member/Artistic Director), Brandon Chamber of Commerce (events committee member), and Matt Calvert Charity Shootout (committee member) to name a few. 


She looks forward to working with many more as a part of the Create Marketing team. 


Courtney Bryant


Courtney was born and raised in Brandon, and recently completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Brandon University this past May. She is currently continuing her education and enrolled at the CPA Western School of Business where she is working towards her accounting designation.


Courtney has worked in a variety of roles in different sectors, including health care, finance, and hospitality. This previous experience gives her a broad understanding of different needs within diverse industries.


While in her final year of university Courtney was the President of Enactus Brandon, a non-profit organization that serves our community through many programs and outreach projects. Through her work with Enactus, she was involved in small business startups and learned the value of effective digital marketing in a business’s overall success.


She is excited to contribute to the Create Marketing team and to businesses in Southwestern Manitoba.




Leanne has spent more than thirteen years of her professional career in sales and marketing, doing a variety of roles. After graduating from Assiniboine Community College, where she received her Business Administration Diploma specializing in Marketing, she built a successful sales business helping small businesses, where she worked very closely with business owners in all different types of industries.  In 2009, she left Manitoba to explore the mountains while attending the University of Lethbridge.


Finally, Leanne moved back to Brandon and started her position as the Marketing Manager at one of the largest accounting firms in Canada. In 2020, she was offered the opportunity to share her passion for business and marketing and began teaching at Assiniboine Community College, in the Faculty of Business. As a lifelong learner herself, she is currently working towards her certificate in adult education at Red River College.  

Leanne knows the importance of volunteering and giving back to her community and she has been involved in many organizations in Brandon including; YWCA, Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Assiniboine Community College, and Fuzzy Bears Daycare.

She married the man who brought her back to Manitoba and has two wonderful little people; Emily (5) and Brooks (2). Growing up on a farm outside of Baldur, it has always been her dream to live in the country again. And, just recently they bought an acreage outside of Brandon.

Zoey Williams


Zoey was born in Southern Ontario, and grew up traveling the world and living abroad in Europe, South East Asia, and the Middle East. These experiences have sparked a passion for small businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives commerce. 


Zoey possesses a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Aeronautics in Aviation Flight Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Advanced Diploma in Aviation Flight Management from Confederation College. In 2021, she completed her Masters in Business Administration specializing in Aviation and International Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Throughout her education she has had a keen interest in operations management, process optimization, and project management.


Zoey has worked in various roles in hospitality, academia, business coordination, and flight operations. Additionally, she is an active volunteer with a focus on underserved communities and racialized groups. She is a public speaker encouraging business, science, and higher education with school aged children. Zoey was a keynote speaker at the Dream Never Dies Scholarship Dinner and a presenter at the Thunder Bay Economic Trends and Career Paths Workshop.


With six years of business education Zoey has a strong interest in marketing and continuous improvement. As a part of the Create Marketing Team Zoey looks forward to helping small businesses grow and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit in Brandon.


Jess Raupers

Graphic Designer

Jess has over a decade of experience in graphic design and has a special interest in building brands for small to medium sized businesses. She moved to Brandon in 2009, to pursue a diploma in Web Design, from Assiniboine Community College. After graduating, she started her freelance journey where she created logo’s for small businesses, built websites, designed graphic user interfaces for iPhone apps, wedding invitations and made posters for local events. 


Over the years, Jess has worked in a variety of roles within education, hospitality and media industries and always found the time to squeeze in creative projects along the way. While she was on her second maternity leave in 2018, Jess decided to start offering freelance graphic design services to the Westman community again. During this time, Jess worked with over 30 businesses and developed a streamlined process for defining a company’s brand strategy while building cohesive visual assets that create a unified brand identity. She also completed online courses aimed at best branding practices, social media strategies, and personal development methodology. 


Residing on an acreage north of Brandon, Jess keeps busy with her four children and husband. She co-hosts, edits and produces a podcast aimed at breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and enjoys writing, gardening and volunteering in her community. Jess has been involved with many organizations including; Westman Regional Soccer Association, Brandon Career Symposium, Assiniboine Community College, and Yellowed Regional Employment Skills and Services. 


Jess is excited to bring her talents to the Create Marketing team and help businesses make a big impact through the thoughtful use of design.
